If you are tickled pink at the though of playing golf at your own leisurely pace then Lochcarron will suit you down to the ground. This nine-hole course surrounds an old church and burial ground which is, unsurprisingly, out-of-bounds. The first few holes are especially enjoyable as they border the shore, thus appearing different when the tide is either in or out. Accuracy is paramount on this layout, even more so at high tide. At only 1,789 yards Lochcarron is ideal for beginners to learn the ropes of the game without feeling rushed. A warm welcome is extended to all in its clubhouse. |
