Set beside the River Spey with the Monadhliath and Grampian Mountains all around this is a comparatively flat, easy-walking parkland course that presents a good, strong challenge. It is well-known for its array of wild flowers and bird life.

The course houses just the one par five although its collection of tight par fours and tricky par threes is more than enough to keep you on your toes. The best rewards come from keeping the ball in play off the tee as the fairways are narrow.

Positioning is also important if you want an easier route to the flag.
