Situated just a few miles from Muirfield and Gullane and readily accessible from all directions via the Edinburgh City By-pass and A1, the course offers all year round golf at affordable prices for players of all abilities. Designed originally as a nine-hole course in 1894 by the legendary Ben Sayers and James Braid, the Glen was fully established in 1906.

Since then the course has developed into a fine challenge where every hole offers the golfer a different perspective of the Firth of Forth, with views dominated by the bass rock, one of the world's largest bird sanctuaries.
